Thimpu Paro Tour

Day 01: Arrival Paro
You feel ecstatic as you see the undulating hills below. Get ready for your plane has entered Bhutan. Some time more and you would reach Paro Airport. Our representative would welcome you there and transfer to Kichu Resort where you would have your overnight stay.

Day 02: Paro
You would spend the day seeing the sights of Paro. You would visit Drukgyal Dzong, the fortress which now lies devastated. Another stop in your itinerary would be Ta Dzong, the National Museum. Your third major stops is Takshan View Point, popularly called Tiger's Nest. For night, you would return to Kichu Resort in Paro.

Day 03: Thimphu
You would leave for Thimphu, the Bhutanese Capital, in morning. En route, you would be taken to Simtokha Dzong. Built in 1627, it is the oldest centre of Buddhist studies in Bhutan. On reaching Thimphu, you would be taken to Hotel Druk or Riverview, where you would spend your night.

Day 04: Thimphu, Wangdiphodrang
You would have a lot of sightseeing in morning including the Memorial Chorten, Tashichhodzong, painting school, and National Library. In afternoon you would be driven to Wangdiphodrang via Dochula Pass. The place is located at the height of 3050m. The night would be spent at Kichu Resort, Wangdi.

Day 05: Gangtey Gompa Valley
You would enjoy a daylong excursion to the famous Gangtey Gompa Valley, located at an altitude of 2,800 meters. The valley is known for the Nyingmapa Monastery and rare rare Black Necked Cranes, who migrate from the Tibetan Plateau. Overnight stay would be at Kichu Resort, Wangdi.

Day 06: Punakha Dzong
You would visit the famous Punakha Dzong, which was once the capital of Bhutan. Built between two rivers, this seemingly impregnable fortress is a site to visit. You would be driven to Wangdiphodrang then, which is nestled almost at the same elevation. This massive fortress on a hilltop was built in 1638. You would be driven back to Paro where you would stay for night at Kichu Resort.

Day 07: Departure Paro
Our representative would escort you to the airport where you would board a flight for return journey.
