Chakrata is a beautiful hill station located in
Uttarakhand between the Tons and the Yamuna River situated at an
altitude of 5,500 to 6,500 feet above sea level. The state capital
Dehradun is about 92 kms from here.
The weather in Chalrata is pleasant throughout the year. Summers are
warm with temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius while winters
are cold with temperatures between -5 to 10 degrees Celsius. The best
time to visit Chakrata is between April to June and September to
November.
