Pauri has a sub temperate to temperate type of climate. It basically remains pleasant all through the year. The maximum temperature reaches about 25 degree Celsius during the summers. However, during the winter season it can fall down to 1 degree Celsius as well.
The hilly terrain with its densely forested slopes receives adequate rainfall generally from mid June and extending till mid September. However, occasional rainfall is also recorded in winter. Average annual rainfall is about 218 cm.
