Ghangharia
Ghangharia is located about 5 kms. from Hemkund Sahib,and it serves as
the base for visiting Hemkund Sahib. It is also the last inhabited place
of the valley.
Govind Ghat
Govind Ghat is located on the meeting point of the Alaknanda and
Bhyundar or Lakshman Ganga. Goving Ghat also has a big gurudwara which
is visited by many pilgrims each year.

Devprayag is located at the meeting point of river Alaknanda and
Bhagirathi and is known for temples and river ghats. It is believed that
Lord Vishnu begged for 3 steps of lands from King Bali, at Devprayag.
